考官范文

Currently, youngsters has become increasingly dependent on electronic products like computers and smart phones. Some people argue that the overuse of these devices could pose threat to teenagers’ reading and writing abilities. Before giving my opinion, I think it is important to analyse this phenomenon on both sides. On the one hand, the over reliance on computers and mobile phones everyday could undermine youngsters’ reading and writing capacities. Usually, the information and articles exposed online are cluttered with Internet language, which is featured by abbreviations and informal language which could not be used in formal academic settings. Immersed in these fast-food cultures, youngsters have less time to appreciate high quality books. In addition, an important function of these communication tools is to enable people to interact with each other via sound and pictures. Although some people still write text messages, the contents in this context are quite simple. Also, when people write on the phones or computers, they pay less attention to their spellings, as the mistakes can be corrected automatically. This is particularly harmful to teenagers, who need to practice writing by hand and develop writing skills at their early ages. However, on the other hand, for those who know how to take advantage of these electronic products, there might be some positive influences on their academic performance. For example, some university students often use computers to work with their teams on their school projects. During the process, they share and discuss useful reading materials for their essays or proofread their writings. The communication tools in this case can contribute to better their literacy skills. To sum up, the influences of the increasing use of computers and mobile phones are decided by how they are used. Over dependency on them could undermine the pupils’ academic literacy, while appropriate and smart utilisation could contribute to the development of related skills. 接下来,我们来分析范文的结构及观点。
