Describe something you do to keep fit and health.

Well, these past 2 years have been really difficult for me and also for a lot of people to keep fit and healthy. Because of covid, we were often in lockdown, like everybody was constrained in their homes a lot and I haven’t been as physically active as I am supposed to be. And at one time, I gained a lot of weight. But I successfully lost all that fat even when I was indoor most of the time. So what I did and what I am still doing is to watch what I eat, now, when you talk about going on a diet, most people automatically assume that you have to starve in order to shed fat, that couldn’t be more wrong. The thing is, you first need to understand what’s causing fat to build in our bodies. I did some research online and I learned that the principal culprit is carbs, like when we eat a lot of carbs, like rice, wheat, or highly processed foods like cakes, sweets, those carbs get into our bodies and they turn into fat. Meats especially lean meats are sources of protein that our bodies need, and like, you can eat as much meat as you can, you don’t have to worry about getting love handles. Like, you can eat meat to lose weight. That’s counterintuitive, but based on my personal experience, it works. I stick to this diet almost everyday, the things is, this diet alone is enough for me to control my body weight, I don’t really have to do like cardio to burn calories. My wife has been on this diet with me, and she’s lost quite a few pounds too. A bonus is together we have learned a lot of healthy, tasty recipes, I mean, it’s fun and it doesn’t really require a lot of effort. I think the method is important is that it is based on science. As long as you figure out how your body works, you can easily make this adjustment. I mean, keeping fit doesn’t have to be excruciating. It really just all comes down to preparing your own food, with a little bit of self control, everybody can do it. 注释:

1. How do children and old people keep fit and healthy?

示范音频: [audio mp3="https://www.testdaily.cn/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/getvoice-1-3.mp3"][/audio] I don’t think children really need to keep fit because they are always running around, I mean, playing and frolicking consumes a lot of energy of children, and they get a lot of exercising. As long as parents don’t feed them junk food or candy everyday, children can easily be fit and healthy. As for old people, well, as you grow old, your metabolism slows down, everything in your body ages, to fight this, old people need to be physically active, like my dad, who is his 60s, he walks about 5 miles everyday, he says it really helps improve his energy levels and he feels fit as a fiddle.

2. What do people normally do to keep fit and healthy in your country?

Basically, it’s super easy for young people to be fit and healthy. It’s middle aged and old people that pay a lot of attention to health, you often see them doing all kinds of exercises in the park. Like, people are aware that sports boost physical health. But I feel like they also believe in nutritional supplements a lot, people take vitamins, fish oil, medicinal herbs that are advertised to have the ability to rejuvenate the body.

3. How can parents help and guide their kids to keep healthy?

The biggest health problem for kids is probably childhood obesity, not the lack of exercising. When parents make sure that their kids eat nutritious food instead of snacks, donuts, or fried chicken, their kids will be healthy. It also helps for parents to take their kids outdoors often, do sports with them, any activities that get them move around and break a sweat. It’s also good family time.

4. Do you think it is a good way for governments to use the power of idol to help people to build health awareness?

Like I said, teens are not that aware of staying healthy, they don’t need to be. Health is really sth that you take for granted when you’re young because you just have it, it’s not like a priority for you. Only later in life, when people start to have all sorts of health problems, do they realize the importance of health. But older people are not the least interested in idols, they don’t even know who those idols are. Like no matter how influential those idols might be, it’s unlikely they will have an impact on older generations. I just don’t think it’s going to work. 注释:
